Back and Better: Sprocktoberfest

On Saturday, October 24, come and join AMP for a fun, family event!  We invite children, under the guidance of parents, to participate in our biking safety program and practice their trail skills on our training course.  Family oriented events will begin near 2:00 PM.  We hope this event that represents all of AMP's recent efforts to involve communities and families, build trails, and promote mountain biking in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Food and non-alcoholic drink will be provided by AMP.  Feel free to bring your favorite side dish or beverage. Event is BYOB. Take-A-Kid rescheduled due to rain.

Saturday's Take-A-Kid-Mountain-Biking Activities have been canceled due to the amount of rainfall we have already received and the possibility of more rain the day of the event. Not to worry! We are working towards setting a rain date, so stay tuned for additional details. Please help spread the word so no one's looking for us in the rain on Saturday.

Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day

Anthracite Mountain Pedalers will be hosting a Take A Kid Mountain Biking event on October 3rd at the Fleetville Volunteer Fire Co. just north of Lackawanna State Park.  There will be organized rides for all ages including children's loops and rides leaving the fire hall to ride the trail system at Lackawanna State Park.
